Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., Thomasville, N.C., has won two marketing and communications awards in the 2004 TMCA (Transportation Marketing & Communications Assn.)
annual competition. The "Tranny" awards were presented during TMCA's Annual Conference & Educational forum at Indian Wells, Calif.
The competition recognizes organizations in North American transportation that have developed creative strategic marketing and communications. This year the competition involved a record number of entries -- nearly 200.
The TMCA awards program has been in existence for more than 50 years. The program elevates the standards of professionalism within the industry.
Entries in this year's competition qualified if they focused on organizational marketing or communication within the freight or passenger transit industries.
