William D. Fay has stepped down as president and chief executive officer of NATSO, the trade association representing America’s truckstop and travel plaza industry.

Roger D. Cole, chairman of the executive committee, said the panel and Fay mutually agreed to severe their relationship immediately.
The committee thanked Fay, who served as president and CEO since January 2003, for his contributions during the past year and wished him well as he pursues other endeavors.
Lisa Mullins, who has worked at NATSO since January 1995, has been named the association’s acting president and chief executive officer. Mullins has most recently served as vice president of public affairs and counsel.
"We are confident in Lisa and the entire NATSO staff’s ability to serve our members’ interests well in the coming months," said Cole.
