ProMiles Software Development Corp., Bridge City, Texas, announced that the upcoming release of ProMiles XF, a mileage and routing application, will be able to display the location of more than 1,200 TripPak Express drop box sites
ProMiles Provides TripPak Locations
across the U.S and Canada.
The software will also include TripPak Scanning locations.
“Our clients have been requesting the ability to locate ‘The Yellow Box that Delivers Data’ and to incorporate that information into effective route planning and optimization decisions. We worked with TMI to provide TripPak network information, so ProMiles users now have tools that allow them to view all TripPak Express locations and to filter their search based on the drop box pick up time at that truck stop,” said ProMiles sales president Tony Stroncheck.
ProMiles XF software provides mileage and routing for heavy trucks and includes basic fuel routing optimization. ProMiles XF integrates with available add-on modules for fuel tax reporting and fuel management.
TMI operates TripPak Express, a network of truckstop drop boxes where drivers drop off completed trip documents. The documents are overnighted for processing to carrier headquarters or to a TMI scanning facility. TripPak Scanning is offered at participating truckstop fuel desks where trip documents are scanned and returned to the driver. The document images are sent to the carrier electronically.
According to the ProMiles announcement the new version of ProMiles XF will be released in March, but current users can add the new functionality by installing the free ProMiles XF service pack 5, now available for download on the ProMiles web site. Further updates of TripPak locations will be offered as needed.
