Oshkosh Truck Corp., a leading manufacturer of specialty trucks and truck bodies, said the company was named one of the Best Managed Companies in America by Forbes magazine.

"These companies exude excellence -- in how they're managed and in financial performance," according to Forbes' Jan. 12, 2004 issue. Oshkosh led the Capital Goods category with a five-year average total return of 37.5%, one of just 26 industry leaders highlighted in the issue.
"We are very proud to be recognized by Forbes as one of the best managed companies. We strive to deliver value to our customers on a daily basis, which ultimately drives performance for our shareholders," said Robert G. Bohn, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Oshkosh.
