Peterbilt Motors Co. held its annual Red Oval meeting in Dallas for key representatives of its dealer network recently, and also named the Red Oval Truck Dealer of the Year.

Peterbilt of Springfield, located in Stafford, Mo., was named the 2002 Red Oval Dealer of the Year. Peterbilt of Springfield is owned and operated by Claire and Glenn Larson. Tim Leake is the dealership's truck sales manager.
"The Red Oval meeting is an opportunity for Peterbilt and its dealers to review the state of the pre-owned truck market, discuss ways to help customers maximize their pre-owned truck investment and identify new opportunities for us to continue to grow market share and maintain the industry-leading resale value of our vehicles," said Bruce Ewald, Peterbilt assistant general manager. "Throughout the fluctuations in the pre-owned marketplace, Peterbilt and its dealers have served customer needs through select inventory, competitive financing with Paccar Financial and programs that enhance vehicle uptime, such as TruckCare Preventive Maintenance programs and extended warranty packages. The Red Oval meeting helps ensure we continue to improve on those efforts as we strive to provide industry-leading customer satisfaction."
Peterbilt Motors Co., a division of Paccar Inc., manufactures trucks and offers a broad range of services for the over-the-road, construction, municipal and medium-duty markets. Peterbilt trucks are sold and serviced through its 212 U.S. and Canadian dealerships.
