Onboard computer and operations software provider XATA Corp., Minneapolis, Minn., announced it has implemented support for the new hours of service rules
issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration earlier this year that go into effect Jan. 4, 2004.
According to XATA, updates are provided to customers as part of their support and maintenance contracts. The hours of service update will enable current XATA customers to continue managing driver logs electronically. The updates have been added to XATA's OpCenter and XATANET products.
