Wheaton World Wide Moving, Indiapolis, Ind., recently named Vince Butler the first recipient of the J.B. Cupp Safety Performance award.

The award is given in honor of J.B. Cupp, the van line's former safety director. Each year, the driver who best exemplifies what Cupp stood for -- safety, professionalism and dedication -- will receive this award as an enduring tribute to a man who gave 39 years of his life to improving the image of drivers. Butler, a driver with Wheaton for 35 years, has received numerous safe-driving honors in addition to driving 2.3 million miles during his career.
Butler was presented with a crystal truck and a $500 cash award.
