Case New Holland Selects GlobalTRACS from Qualcomm

Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, Calif., announced that Case New Holland Inc., a major construction equipment manufacturer, has exclusively endorsed Qualcomm’s GlobalTRACS

equipment management system for use on Case New Holland construction equipment.
GlobalTRACS, which was launched earlier this year, provides the basis for the trailer-tracking product currently being evaluated by members of Qualcomm’s trailer-tracking consortium, including some of the largest truckload carriers.
The GlobalTRACS system collects, manages and transmits equipment operating status and location data, which can be accessed via a Web-based application or integrated into existing back-end business software systems.
GlobalTRACS includes “geo-fencing” for security and enables reports of engine hours on demand or at automated intervals. GlobalTRACS can be factory or after-market installed on all vehicle makes and models.
