WebTech Wireless, Burnaby, B.C., Canada, has introduced a new suite of wireless services for trucking and transportation companies. WebTech is also offering new and enhanced services for existing customers.

Key services now available for trucking customers include automated driver
logs, automated fuel tax reporting, J1708-based engine reports, driver ID
authentication and vehicle access, driver status reporting -- and a new
addition to the WebTech family of data terminals, the MDT2000.
Also newly available is an internal battery option for the WebTech4000 series of in-vehicle devices that enables trailer-tracking solutions.
WebTech announced enhancements to its core services, including support for multiple polygon geofences, a new reporting package, expanded landmark capabilities, improved GPS performance, and over-the-air firmware upgrades.
WebTech’s service operate over the AT&T Wireless network.
