Sapp Bros. Opens Truck Center in Salt Lake City

W.D. (Bill) Sapp, CEO of Sapp Bros., said "Our truck repair facilities have evolved from being a truckstop necessity into a very important segment of our business.
He said his company is offering two new marketing promotions. The first is its full-service oil change slogan, "Why Pay More for Less?" followed by a promise on truck tires to "Beat Any Competitor’s Advertised Price."
"We have many profit centers at our locations to dilute our fixed overhead expenses, whereas a competitor -- who sells just tires and only tires -- must build all of their overhead into the price of their tires. We can simply sell our products and services for less money because our expenses are lower and our buying power is greater."
Most of its truck repair service centers are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including the new Salt Lake City location. They are staffed by professional technicians, who are rewarded for passing ASE tests and becoming certified master technicians.
Sapp Bros. also provides training for its technicians, including Hunter Alignment schooling and A/C certification,
"We are probably the only truckstop service centers to have a certified TIA trainer and technicians (formerly ITRA) at every service center location. It is our goal to achieve ASE’s coveted Blue Seal certification at all of our locations."
