Integrated Decision Support Corp., Richardson, Texas, announced that Priority Transportation has selected Integrated’s Expert Fuel and Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival Alert transportation software.
Priority Transportation, based in Orlando, Fla., operates 750 power units and 2,000 refrigerated and dry van trailers in the eastern U.S.
Expert Fuel is a real-time fuel optimization program providing drivers with guidance on the route to run and the fuel stops to make in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. According to Integrated, users can expect a savings of 4 to 11 cents per gallon per truck, and more when fuel prices are high.
Priority Transportation already uses Integrated’s Netwise and Netwise400 yield management software to support operational decisions.
