Averitt Express Picks A.MAZE

GEOCOMtms, of Quebec and Atlanta, has announced that Averitt Express is implementing its A.MAZE fleet scheduling optimization and territory design solution.

LTL carrier Averitt of Cookeville, Tenn., provides a variety of transportation services.
Averitt will use A.MAZE to plan and optimize 1,236 routes per day from 80 service centers across the southeastern United States.
“Of all the solutions we have looked at, A.MAZE turned out to be the easiest to sell internally, because it produced realistic results. That is what prompted our decision,” said David Henry, Averitt’s director of system design.
