SiriCOMM Inc., Joplin, Mo., announced that Terry W. Thompson has been appointed to its board of directors.
Terry Thompson Joins Siricomm Board

Thompson retired as president of Jack Henry and Associates, a provider of integrated computer systems and processor of ATM and debit card transactions for banks and credit unions. Thompson joined Jack Henry in 1990 as chief financial officer and was named president in 2001, guiding the company from $15 million in revenues to more than $365 million, and from 98 employees to 2,300.
SiriCOMM is an applications service provider and nationwide broadband
wireless network operator serving the highway transportation industry. The company is securing agreements to provide network access at truckstops and other facilities frequented by truck drivers.
In April, SiriCOMM Inc. demonstrated the InstaCheck system that enables vehicle diagnostic data to be sent between, say, truck stops and and remote maintenance service centers. InstaCheck also provides vehicle manufacturers with product reliability and warranty data.
