The Holland Group, Holland, Mich., supplier of vehicle connection products and technologies, announced that it has raised the performance guarantee on its FleetMaster and FleetMaster LowLube fifth wheels
to 5 years or 500,000 miles.
The Holland Performance Guarantee is different from a standard material and workmanship warranty in that it guarantees the durability of the product. In this case, Holland guarantees that the locking system of the FleetMaster fifth wheel will retain the ability to be adjusted to a standard SAE kingpin for a minimum of 5 years or 500,000 miles.
“Holland has been reviewing the performance data on the FW8 FleetMaster fifth wheels that have been in service fleets for the past 5-8 years and our analysis concludes that the fifth wheel shows exceptional wear characteristics that merit this increase in the performance guarantee,” said Doug Dorn, Product Marketing Manager for Holland’s line of fifth wheels.
