Providing customers with a polished, professional image without buffing for hours, Peterbilt is now offering Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminum wheels that maintain their exterior finish with minimal cleaning.
The new wheels -- available for all Peterbilt models -- feature a treatment technology that penetrates the aluminum and becomes integral to the wheel, protecting against oxidation and corrosion. The treatment is not a coating or finish, and as such, peeling and cracking is eliminated.
High-pressure water from a hose and a mild detergent will wash the wheels clean of dirt, road salt, brake dust, grease and oil residue.
