GEOCOMtms, Québec, Canada, announced the addition of Compatible Services functionality to its A.MAZE routing and scheduling software.

“Many of our clients had expressed the need for automated routing management in complex environments, where for example, some products cannot concurrently be delivered by the same truck,” said Ajesh Kapoor, vice president of engineering at GEOCOMtms.
For example, fish and fresh fruits and vegetables cannot share the same truck, since the smell of one has an impact of the quality of the other. Similarly, tankers can only carry one type of fuel at a time and a truck that delivers sheet metal cannot be loaded with cartons on the same run.
“GEOCOMtms has brought, yet again, its routing and scheduling optimization expertise to new heights, putting us years ahead of our competitors,” said Bernard Têtu, president and CEO of GEOCOMtms. “Companies that have adopted our A.MAZE solution possess an amazing tool to optimize their resources, which allows them to deal with their respective competition efficiently.”
