All American Travel Plazas, the Carlisle, Pa.-based operator of nine travel centers in Pennsylvania and Virginia -- four under the AMBEST chain and two under the Petro brand -- has reached an agreement with TMI, the parent company of TripPak
Express and TripPak Online document management services, to deploy truckstop document capture services at their locations.
"TripPak is a great partner, a reliable company and the established leader in scanning services," said Jeff Kichman, vice president of sales and marketing for the All American group. "TripPak is financially capable of delivering on every promise to this market. We want fleets to know that when we decided to offer fuel desk employee-assisted document scanning service, TripPak Scanning was the obvious choice."
"We’re are currently involved in the deployment of scanning stations at every Petro Stopping Center, and it’s great to have Petro franchisees -- with multiple locations like All American’s -- be proactive about bringing on all their facilities," said Mark A. Cleveland, executive vice president of TMI. "We have the exclusive endorsement from AMBEST and the confidence of its membership, making commitments like this, which adds real value to our truck stop scanning network."
TripPak offers scanning solutions for fleet terminals, a centralized scanning service for outsourced document management and truckstop trip document image captures services. "Any combination of these programs, together with universal drop box coverage, delivers a tailored solution for any fleet, large or small," Cleveland adds. "TripPak Scanning gives a driver the speed and convenience of truckstop scanning, and behind the scenes, fleets get the full support capabilities for advanced indexing, auditing and dispatch data validation. Without that, it’s just a fax."
Participating fleets can direct drivers to participating truckstops where the fuel desk employees process images and return documents with a receipt to the driver. Drivers can confirm images were submitted through the system by reviewing them at www.trippak.com just minutes later.
Alternatively, drivers can simply drop their trip envelopes in a TripPak box to be scanned overnight and images captured at a truck stop can be merged with images processed in the TripPak Scanning center and exported to participating carriers, while original documents are maintained by TripPak.
TMI is a 14-year old company headquartered in Denver, Colo., with offices in Brentwood, Tenn. and Wilmington, Ohio.
