With a theme of "Sell-A-Bration," National Van Lines honored its agency family by presenting awards to a number of employees of the van line.

At the 2003 Agent Convention in Oakbrook, Ill., CEO Maureen Beal handed out awards for longevity, as well as recognition of National’s top hauling agents and top sales performers.
Arnell Mumford of AMC Relocations Inc. (Waldorf, Md.) and Richard King of King Moving & Storage (Valdosta, Ga.) were recognized for their 10 years of service; Pat Kelly of Valley Moving & Storage (Mt. Vernon, Wash.) were honored for their 15-year commitment; and Steven Hernandez of Active Moving & Storage (Pensacola, Fla.) and John and Rhona Boyce of A-Plus Van & Storage (Norfolk, Va.) for hitting their 20-year milestone of van line representation.
Beal also honored Judy & Ervin Marshburn of Piedmont Van & Storage (Fayetteville, N.C.) for their 25 years of service, and accepted the 50-year service award on behalf of Gary Plummer, Peninsula Moving & Storage (Salinas, Calif.)
Honored as top hauling agents for 2001 and 2002 were American Way Van & Storage (Dayton, Ohio), represented by Bobby and Diana Vann; Mercury Movers Inc. (South Gate, Calif.), represented by Ruben and Maria Gil; John and Mubeena Rockey from Rockey’s Van Lines (Killeen, Texas); and Bill Gerber of Gerber Moving & Storage (Bonner Springs, Kan.)
Topping the list of sales leaders in national accounts were L & J Moving & Storage (Temple, Pa.), Upright’s American Relo (Waldorf, Md.), Arven Moving & Storage (Woodbridge, Va.), and AMC Relocations (Waldorf, Md.)
Sales leaders in residential sales included Midway Moving & Storage (Chicago, Ill.), L & J Moving & Storage (Temple, Pa.), Joe Bonnie & Son Moving & Storage (Delray Beach, Fla.), Pink Transfer Inc. (Monrovia, Calif.) and Fogarty Van Lines (Tampa, Fla.)
L & J Moving & Storage was recognized with a special achievement trophy in New Products Sales and Hauling.
National Van Lines is in its third generation of hands-on family management.
