Iowa 80 Truckstop's famous Walcott Truckers Jamboree will be celebrating America's Truckers for a 24th year on July 10 and 11 in Walcott, Iowa.

"The Jamboree is our way of saying thank you to all of the men and women in trucking that keep us and America in business," says Jack Horan, Iowa 80 Truckstop general manager.
The two-day trucking celebration will include live country bands featuring local favorites Keep'n Tyme (formerly Big D's) and Dani Lynn Howe and Band (featuring Danielle Howe, co-host of the WLLR morning show). Guests can also enjoy Iowa pork chops, more than 180 exhibits, carnival games, Trucker Olympics, Truckers' Best Friend pet contest, a huge antique truck display (more than 150 trucks) and the Super Truck beauty contest. New this year will be a pie-eating contest.
The event will take place rain or shine, and admission and parking are free.
Jamboree festivities run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday.
