Paccar Inc. has been named a finalist in three categories for the American Business Awards.

Paccar is competing in the Best Overall Company, Most Innovative Company and Best Product Development Organization categories. "Paccar is honored to be one of only three companies in the United States to be a finalist in three categories," said Mark C. Pigott, chairman and chief executive officer. "This recognition is a testament to the dedication and creativity of the company's 16,000 employees around the globe."
Hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post, the American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace.
Honoring companies of all types and sizes and the people behind them, the awards recognize outstanding leadership, innovation, perseverance, creativity, teamwork and integrity.
Nearly 500 nominations from companies of all sizes and in nearly every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," the awards will be presented during a nationally broadcast show on Wednesday, April 30, from New York City.
Paccar is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high-quality, light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and Foden nameplates. It also provides financial services and distributes truck parts related to its principal business.
