Iowa 80 Truckstop employees have collected hundreds of items to send to U.S. Armed Forces stationed in Iraq.

Among the items are more than 200 books, 50 video tapes, tea, Kool-Aid, hard candy, popcorn, cookies, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, shaving gel, razors, playing cards, checkers, puzzles, coffee, batteries, CD's, blank greeting cards and sunscreen.
"We are very proud of our troops and the sacrifices that they make on our behalf," said Delia Moon Meier, senior vice president. "This was one way we could say thank you and let them know that we support them."
The items that Iowa 80 Truckstop collected will be handed over to the Red Cross for delivery to Iraq.
