Stations along the interstates went on round-the-clock status in March because of homeland security concerns, and the move resulted in the collection of $1.1 million in trucking fines.
One station on Interstate 95 in Greenwich has issued truckers 1,347 tickets for more than 1,900 safety violations, according to the Associated Press.
