Vic Tedesco has been installed as 39th president of the National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA), the leading association supporting the work truck industry.

Tedesco is president of Zoresco Truck Equipment, in Turtle Creek, Pa., a designer and distributor of transportation and storage solutions.
"Vic has been a dedicated NTEA supporter for many years. As president, he brings not only his extraordinary NTEA background, but also the business savvy industry skills that helped him grow his successful business," says Jim Carney, executive director of the NTEA.
Tedesco said he believes the NTEA should cultivate more of a grassroots movement to help prepare for the constant change in the industry and in society. His major goal is to continue maximizing value to association members.
"The NTEA is a premier association," Tedesco said. "The framework of the association is very strong and we continue to thrive. I want to continue to build on that. I would also like to place emphasis on a major effort to actively involve the general membership, addressing key issues that face our industry."
Prior to founding Zoresco in 1981, Tedesco took a sales position in 1973 with a trailer leasing company, working his way up to general manager. Under Tedesco’s leadership, Zoresco has grown and diversified, supporting a total of five locations.
The NTEA was established in 1964 and currently represents nearly 1,600 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories. Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to the association. The NTEA provides in-depth technical information, education and money-saving opportunities through its member programs, publications, services and sponsorship of The Work Truck Show — the only event dedicated exclusively to the Class 1 through 8 commercial truck and transportation equipment market.
The association maintains its administrative headquarters in suburban Detroit and a government relations office in Washington, D.C.
