Prime Inc. and P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. have signed on to Transflo Express, the truckstop scanning service from Pegasus TransTech.

Robert E. Low, president of Prime, said, "We are pleased to be working with Transflo Express truckstop scanning for our document delivery needs. We feel this is a product that will assist us in increasing our efficiencies and provide our drivers with an easy-to-use product for sending in their trip reports."
"The main reason we want to use Transflo Express is to get paperwork here in a more timely fashion and shorten the billing cycle," said Prime director of technology Karen Brigham. "We're hoping to reduce days from our billing cycle."
For Arkansas-based P.A.M., truckstop scanning is primarily about driver convenience.
"We wanted to increase the speed and reliability of how drivers get their documents back to us," said Lance Stewart, P.A.M.’s vice president of accounting/controller. "We were looking for a solution that would allow our drivers to maintain control of their own payroll, instead of having to rely on an overnight delivery service," he said.
Added Stewart, "Transflo Express makes complete sense. Our drivers don’t have to worry about any possible failures in the process. Once the documents are scanned at the truck stop, we have them back in the office in an instant. And, since documents will come in at a more steady pace all week—rather than having everything come in over a one or two-day period—we’ll ease the burden on our back-office dramatically."
"Offsetting rising costs is very important to our customers right now. Truckstop scanning is allowing our customers to realize both improved cash flow and a significant reduction in administrative overhead," said Leslie Berlin, president and CEO of Pegasus TransTech. "What's more, feedback from drivers using Transflo Express continues to be extremely positive. The service is fast, easy to use and drivers clearly appreciate not having to worry about whether or not their documents make it to the home office in time for payroll cutoff."
