TravelCenters of America (TA) has acquired its first travel center in Canada on Provincial Highway 401, exit 230, in Woodstock, Ontario.

TA says the addition of this facility to its existing network of 152 sites will allow the company to better serve its trucking customers traveling in Ontario, Canada with destinations throughout the U.S and Canada.
TA will own and operate the 25,000-square-foot facility, to be known as Woodstock 230 Travel Centre.
Ultramar-branded diesel fuel will be sold to drivers through a card-lock system -- the prevalent means of selling diesel fuel in Canada. At the same dispensers, TA customers will be able to purchase diesel fuel just as they do in the U.S. The site will also offer Ultramar gasoline, 220 truck parking spaces, a 204-seat Road Ranger restaurant, 12 private showers and other amenities for highway travelers. Plans call for a new fast-food court and the addition of RoadKing Club in the near future.
Headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, TravelCenters of America is one of the largest networks of full-service travel centers in the nation. TA employs more than 10,000 people at 152 facilities in the United States and Canada.
