Qualcomm Inc., a leader in mobile communications for the transportation industry, has announced that Georgia-Pacific has selected Qualcomm's Code Division Multiple Access (CMA)
digital wireless communications solution.
Georgia-Pacific, a leading manufacturer of tissue, packaging, paper, building products, pulp and related chemicals, has signed a contract with Qualcomm to equip 300 of its vehicles with Qualcomm's OmniExpress mobile communications system and MVPc in-vehicle computers with the FleetAdvisor on-board mobile applications.
