Atlanta-based CarrierPoint has released two new modules.

CarrierPoint's AutoRate, combined with its WebDispatch and DSM products, provides a platform to support and guarantee carrier contract compliance, while completely automating the dispatch process, according to the company.
Shipments are automatically offered to carriers in least-cost order according to service-based routing guides. Carriers are notified in order (over the Internet, and by e-mail, pager, or cell phone according to their preferences), with the carrier audience expanding over time until the load is covered.
CarrierPoint has and developed and integrated an easy-to-use tool for conducting web-based RFQs. System users define the RFQ response rules, design an approval process, enforce carrier compliance with bid formats, provides analysis of responses and efficiently present lane bid and contract information. The eRFQ tool is integrated with CarrierPoint's execution tools to automatically update the rating engine and enforce compliance with automated rating and tendering business rules.
