Arrow Truck Sales, a nationwide used-truck dealership, plans to expand its Canadian sales efforts
and open a new sales facility in Calgary, Alberta, by the end of the year.
In conjunction with this expansion, Arrow Canada will be refocusing its efforts at its current Toronto, Ontario, location. This will include renovating the facility and improving the inventory selection of all makes and models, specifically Volvo and Mack.
"We will not be stopping here,” says Ed Justis, president and CEO of Arrow Truck Sales. “We will continue future expansion efforts with additional locations and satellite facilities throughout Canada.”
Frank Oliveira has been named Vice President - Arrow Truck Sales Canada and David Hemphill has been hired as Branch Manager for the Calgary office. Oliveira, a native Canadian, worked for Freightliner LLC, and the subsidiary corporation Freightliner Market Development Corporation as National Used Truck Manager-Canada for four-plus years. Hemphill has worked for Kenworth and was on the Used Truck Advisory Counsel as the Canadian Representative for seven years.
Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., Arrow Truck Sales began business in 1950 as a small used truck dealer. Today, they are a nationwide U.S. and Canadian dealership with 17 U.S. locations selling pre-owned medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks. A member of the Volvo family of companies, Arrow recently became the sole remarketing arm for used trucks for Volvo and Mack in both the United States and Canada.
