Cypress Truck Lines will deploy an additional 250 units of the Aether MobileMax multi-mode wireless communications system.
The Jacksonville, Fla.-based fleet is a leading flatbed motor carrier and one of the nation's largest gypsum haulers. The company decided to significantly expand its use of Aether's technology to enhance its overall fleet management capabilities, bringing the total number of units deployed at Cypress to 400.

Aether MobileMax automatically switches between land-based and satellite communications without driver or dispatcher intervention. It transmits dispatch and data messages and GPS position reports, and provides data on state-line crossings, vehicle fault codes, and driver performance.
