USF Reddaway, the Oregon-based operating company of USFreightways recently opened two spacious new terminals to better serve the Pacific Northwest region.

Both replace smaller, leased facilities that USF Reddaway had outgrown and are part of a strategic plan of expanding for anticipated future growth. The new terminals have nearly double the capacity of the previous facilities.
The newly built Tacoma, Wash., terminal is strategically located in the Port of Tacoma, at the southern end of Puget Sound. Opened for business in June, this facility will serve the Tacoma market and the company's Alaska operations. Located on approximately 11 acres with 57 doors, the facility includes a self-contained fueling station with a state-of-the-art card-lock dispensing system.
The Salem, Ore., terminal, which opened in March, was also designed and built to company specifications. The facility has 30 doors, on approximately nine acres of land.
