McLeod Software, Birmingham, Ala., now provides an interface to Integrated Decision Support Corporation’s Fuel Advice ASP fuel optimization service.

Working with IDSC, McLeod Software will install software to its LoadMaster dispatch system to provide fuel optimization recommendations based on the customer’s equipment, specific loads and established fuel network.
Fuel Advice is an extension of IDSC’s Expert Fuel product, using the Internet and an ASP transaction model to deliver the fuel stop recommendations on a pay-as-you-need basis.
McLeod Software will install the Fuel Advice interface at no charge to the customer. The base interface allows the user to use a command key from the dispatch screen to import a power unit’s current or pre assigned movement, and receive a fuel stop solution based on a practical route. Customers with mobile communication devices can send this information to their power units.
