Cummins has made it easier to find out about its October '02-certified engines with a new web site.
Cummins Launches On-Highway Engine Website

The site, www.tougheststandards.cummins.com, offers key information about Cummins on-highway product line that will meet the October 2002 emissions standards.
The announcement came on the heels of Cummins' announcement that its ISX engine is the first heavy-duty engine to be certified by the Environmental Protection Agency to the 2.5-gram NOx+NMHC standard. The ISX is the first of a number of engines in the Cummins product line that will be certified during the next six months, says the company.
The site features a downloadable video and brochure describing the benefits of cooled exhaust gas recirculation and variable geometry turbocharging, as well as links to the latest articles and news releases describing Cummins progress toward meeting the October 2002 emissions regulation deadline.
Tom Kieffer, Cummins executive director, marketing, says the company wants to "create a dialogue within the industry about our experience with this proven engine technology."
