The AMBEST independent truck stop marketing association has announced the addition of three top truckstop facilities to its network of nearly 140 locations.

Joining the nationwide AMBEST network are the new Rip Griffin Travel Center in Prescott, Ark.; the new Charleston Travel Plaza in Charleston, S.C.; and the new Anna Truck Stop in Anna, Texas.
Rip Griffin's newest facility in Prescott, on I-30 at Exit 44, offers 10-bay full shop services, including major repairs, and 10 fuel lanes with SmartFuel. There is a daily all-you-can-eat buffet at its Country Fare Restaurant; pizzas, calzones and other specialty entrees at its Country Hearth Oven; and a travel store, game room, laundry, and private showers.
The Charleston Travel Plaza, located on I-26 at exit 211A, is a brand new facility celebrating its grand opening. The plaza is just minutes away from all four terminals serving the Port of Charleston. It features nine high-speed fueling lanes with satellite pumps and SmartFuel, staging services and container verification via the "Port Connection" electronic link to the Port of Charleston. There is paved, lighted and secured parking for 135 trucks. Driver facilities, include a food court, Sweetgrass full-service restaurant, laundromat, air conditioned shower suites, driver's lounge with big screen theater, and adjacent Hearthside Suites and Rodeway Inn accommodations.
The Anna Truck Stop on South Highway 75 in Anna, Texas, just outside Dallas/Fort Worth, is a full-service facility with a motel on-site; paved, lighted and secured parking; truck wash and certified scales; 24-hour shop facilities with emergency road service. Driver amenities include Grandy's full-service restaurant, 20-seat theater and private showers.
AMBEST provides marketing support for nearly 140 independently owned truck stops, including national brand identity, fuel networking, consolidated billing and payment, a national driver reward program, group purchasing facilitation, a nationwide garage program and group facility standards enforcement.
