Central Freight Lines' Irving, Texas, terminal has reported voted against joining the Teamsters Union.

The company, based in Waco, Texas, employs about 5,000 people. Its 525-door terminal in Irving is considered the world's largest freight dock, and about 850 dock workers, mechanics and drivers are based there.
Local Teamsters organizers told reporters that employees at the terminal approached the union, complaining about benefits, wages and seniority.
Pat Curry, executive vice president of Central Freight Lines, told reporters that the union should be "humbled" by the margin, which was about 72 percent against organizing.
