This year saw a very unusual Valentine's Day at Eagan, Minn.-based Transport Corporation of America with a wedding between two of its employees.
The bride, Gina Wyatt, has been a Transport America associate since 1994, while the groom, Bob Volpe, has been with the company since 1985. Both started out as drivers for the truckload carrier and later moved into operations.

The wedding was held Feb. 14 at corporate headquarters.
"It was extra special to all of us that Gina and Bob chose to be wed at Transport America," said David Carter, Vice President Risk Management and Recruiting. "Their meeting and marrying at our company is a testimony to the kind of family environment we have at TA."
The couple was married under a white archway, with balloons and flowers decorating the room. Attended by friends and fellow coworkers, the ceremony included Maid of Honor, Linda McCarthy, and Best Man, John Strauss, both of whom work at Transport America. Debbie Erickson and Ben Lovell, both TA associates, provided the singing. A cake reception was held at the trucking company, followed by dinner and dancing at a local steak house.
