The Third Annual National Day of Prayer for Truckers will be conducted at the Mid America Trucking Show on March 21 at 9 a.m. in Room 101 of the South Wing of the Exposition Hall in Louisville, Ky.
TransAlive USA, TruckStop Ministries, Transport for Christ and Hope Haulers are sponsoring the prayer meeting.
Kenny Robbins, 2000 Country Gospel Artist of the year who was inducted into the Country Gospel Hall of Fame in 2001, will be presenting the music.
Scott Weidner with Transport for Christ, Joe Hunter with TruckStop Ministries, Chuck Sonn with Hope Haulers, Inc, along with Bob Hataway with TransAlive USA encourage everyone to pray for truckers and their families across our country. "In the wake of 9-11, our nation has been called to our knees to pray," they say in the announcement of the prayer day. "We in the transportation industry know the pitfalls our drivers face. We invite you wherever you are at 9 a.m., your local time, to stop and spend time in silent prayer for the truckers who keep our country moving."
