Penske Truck Rental has deployed a pilot program using Revenio Dialog, an outbound dialog marketing solution,
to help Penske convert truck rental prospects into customers.
According to Revenio Inc., the program will open up an automated "dialog" with the prospects via e-mail, following their initial visit to Penske's web site (www.pensketruckrental.com).
Each week, thousands of prospects log on to Penske's Web site to obtain free quotes for do-it-yourself truck rentals. The company plans to use Revenio Dialog to engage these prospects in fully automated marketing "dialogs," to convert more of them into customers. It does this by using two-way automated dialogs to "learn" about each customer's truck rental needs and preferences.
"More than 10,000 people request pricing quotes on our site each week, but many of them don't follow through with renting a truck," said Tom Janowicz, e-lease general manager, Penske Truck Leasing. "Revenio Dialog gives us a way to reach out to all of these prospects so we can learn about their needs and convert them into customers."
