The Agricultural Transporters Conference of the American Trucking Associations will hold its annual legislative meeting Feb. 13 in Washington, D.C.

The meeting will cover topics such as the insurance crisis, "agri-terrorism" legislation, and key trucking issues in Congress. The keynote speaker is scheduled to be Jim Moseley, Deputy Secretary of Agriculture.
Other Capitol Hill speakers scheduled include Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), sponsor of "Sense of Congress" language on agricultural exemptions; Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.), ranking member of the Senate Agriculture Committee; Rep. Richard Pombo (R-Calif.), member of the House Agriculture Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee; and Rep. Adam Putnam (R-Fla.), member of the House Agriculture Committee and key sponsor of "agri-terrorism" legislation.
