Vistar Datacom, a satellite tracking and communications provider, will distribute its GlobalWave terminal in Guatemala.

Through a distributorship agreement, Red Technologies of Guatemala will distribute 1,000 GlobalWave terminals each year for the next three years.
Vistar also recently announced service in South Africa.
GlobalWave is an end-to-end two-way satellite data communications system that allows users to automatically track and monitor mobile or fixed assets through up-to-the-minute information exchanges via geostationary and GPS satellites.
Orders for the GlobalWave service have accelerated recently in North America, especially for truck trailer tracking, according to the company.
Red Technologies is a subsidiary of SND Electronics of Greenwich, Conn., a worldwide distributor of electronic components, computer peripherals, software and networking products.
