Ruan Logistics announced a logistics services partnership with Agrilink Foods.

Agrilink, an agricultural marketing cooperative that consists of more than 600 members, processes fruits, vegetables and popcorn through its wholly owned subsidiary, Agrilink Foods. These commodities are processed and marketed as branded, private-label and foodservice products.
Ruan will work with Agrilink to design and implement a logistics system. Ruan will manage all inbound, outbound and interplant orders for Agrilink. Shipments will be administered using CAPS Logistics Trans-Prod, Ruan's proprietary load tender, and Track and Trace technology to create and monitor continuous moves and optimized routes within Ruan's network of freight management.
All North American inbound and outbound shipments will be administered using an internal route optimization program. Ruan will also use its online service, Track and Trace, to view inbound and outbound shipments on the Web.
The agreement accelerates Ruan's strategy to partner with refrigerated shippers.
