Landstar System, Jacksonville, Fla., has named Dennis Patrick Owen to the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.
In his new position, Owen will be responsible for all of the company's legal affairs, including contract administration, litigation management, risk management and human resources.
Owen has more than 28 years of experience in loss control management and legal affairs, including duties as general counsel. He began his career at Landstar in 1988 as Vice President of Risk Management.
