Volvo Trucks North America will cut about 100 jobs at its New River Valley plant in Dublin, Va.
The plant will close for the week of Nov. 12. When it reopens Nov. 20, production will be cut from 60 trucks a day to 50.
The November week-long closure is in addition to previously scheduled ones this week and the week of Oct. 8.
The layoffs are on top of about 600 others at the plant announced in February and April.
