Penske Logistics, Reading, Pa., has opened a 100,000-square-foot distribution center in Los Indios, Texas.

Adjacent to Penske's 208,000-square-foot center opened in Los Indios earlier this year, 75,000 square feet of the new center's capacity is dedicated to servicing Panasonic Automotive Electronics. The new facility provides transportation and distribution center management to Panasonic's manufacturing operations in Mexico.
"This additional distribution center located 2,000 yards from the new free trade bridge in Harlingen, Texas, further enhances our ability to provide efficient and cost-effective service to our customers," said Robert Herrgard, South Texas area manager, Penske Logistics.
