Terion Inc., Melbourne, Fla., will offer services provided by Qualcomm to customers using Terion’s driver communications services.

An agreement with Qualcomm authorizes Terion to resell Qualcomm's OmniTracs and OmniExpress services to Terion's current driver-messaging customers.
Last week, Terion said it was phasing out its Mobile Cab Communications business, including Mobile Messenger and Mobile Workstation, to focus on its FleetView trailer monitoring system.
Tuesday, Terion announced the agreement with Qualcomm to provide an alternative to current driver messaging customers. Terion said it will be contacting customers over the next several days with details of the Qualcomm offering.
"We are pleased that this agreement with Qualcomm enables us to focus on FleetView, while offering our customers the best possible solution for Mobile Cab Communications,” said Ken Cranston, Terion president.
