Register by Aug. 10 to take one of four fleet management home study courses offered by the National Private Truck Council.

The courses are part of the Certified Transportation Professional program offered by the Institute for Truck Transportation Management, educational affiliate of the National Private Truck Council.
The home study courses start Sept. 1 and are offered through Penn State. You can choose from Fleet Finance 101, Maximizing Fleet Operations, Fleet Productivity and Compliance, or Equipment and Maintenance Efficiency. Each course is $329 for NPTC members and earns CEUs and a certification of completion from Penn State.
Also available is the Transportation Professional's Handbook, featuring 600 pages of fleet operation management. The subject areas are covered in detail, from benchmarking to safety and compliance to finance and budgets. It is required reading for CTP candidates. The cost per copy is $85 (includes shipping and handling).
