ShipLogix, Hudson, Ohio, a web-based provider of collaborative transportation software, has updated its carrier interface.

A carrier can now have a single list of all shipments needing, say, proofs of delivery. Shipments within that list can be sorted by scheduled delivery date to see and act on time-sensitive shipments first. This enables the user to be in and out of the system in two mouse clicks.
The new interface also provides a snapshot of shipment status information immediately upon log-in and enables users to log on from any computer to view shipment data.
ShipLogix offers its applications over the Internet as an ASP (Application Service Provider). Functions include request for quote, shipment rating and consolidation, tendering, visibility, reporting and international documentation.
Last month, ShipLogix absorbed the operations of nPassage, a competitor based in Seattle, Wash.
