G.I. Trucking, Brea, Calif., continues to expand its fleet.

Included in the acquisitions are 210 trailers, 34 Freightliner tandem axle tractors for line haul operations, and 105 converter gears. Also included are 14 28-foot straight trucks for short haul options and special delivery challenges.
To date, G.I. Trucking has been operating with a fleet of approximately 600
tractors and 2,000 trailers. The investment in the new equipment will be approximately $3.5 million.
G.I. Trucking Co. provides direct less-than-truckload transportation services to 13 Western and Midwestern states from 55 terminals. It also offers transportation services to 50 U.S. states and all of Canada through the ExpressLink North American services network.
