Logistics software provider Microanalytics, Arlington, Va., announced that the Chicago Tribune has chosen its TruckStops routing and scheduling software
to manage deliveries from 48 warehouses in Chicago, lower Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana.
The Chicago Tribune, which publishes the seventh largest daily newspaper in the country by circulation, will use TruckStops to route approximately 400 city delivery routes, including 75 relay runs to suburban distribution centers.
TruckStops route optimization software runs in the Windows operating system on a PC.
