Terion Inc., of Melbourne, Florida, will supply XTRA Lease, the St. Louis-based leasing company, with an additional 5,000 FleetView trailer-tracking devices units
to be delivered between August and October 2001.
In September 2000, Terion announced XTRA Lease would purchase 25,000 units. XTRA Lease has since taken delivery of that 25,000 and installed over 23,500 on their trailers.
XTRA Lease offers basic tracking service free through their Web site to customers who rent trailers equipped with FleetView. In addition to the 30,000 units now under contract, XTRA Lease has an option to purchase another 5,000.
