The western part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike is about to get E-ZPass, but truckers won’t be allowed to use it.

The E-ZPass system will be installed in the western half of the state by November from Exit 1 at the Ohio Border to Exit 15 at Blue Mountain. The state will offer passes to automobile drivers in September, but the pass is not available for commercial trucks or buses, whose drivers will still have to stop to pay the toll.
